300 Workout


The 300 Workout
The workout gets its name from the total number of repetitions performed. It was invented by Gym Jones for the actors in ‘300’, the Spartan vs. Persian movie that came out of Frank Miller’s thrilling graphic novel. Some people like to do a 300 workout everyday, while others will complete it just once a week. Here at the NKA I have devised several 300 Workouts which are included in a 1hr class. We average 3 300 Workouts per class and finish off with 100 – 300 crunches/abdominal exercises.

The workouts include training with kettlebells and medicine balls as well as other traditional plyometric and ballistic exercises. Needless to say that you’ll be ready to crawl home and go to bed when you’re finished!

The great thing about the 300 Workout is the variety you can encompass into a workout to make it exciting and different every time. You are only limited by your imagination and your physical ability. Training against the clock, as you improve in fitness so your times will improve giving you goals to set and achieve and pushing you past any training plateau.

The 300 Workout is a great addition to any athlete or exercisers’ training regime. It offers functional exercises with variety and all over body conditioning. Definitely put this one on your “To-do” list.
